Let’s Talk About Breakfast – The Most Important Meal of the Day

Billed as the most important meal of the day, breakfasts come in all shapes, sizes, colours and flavours. The general aim of breakfast is to replenish the bodies necessary vitamins, minerals, sugars and fibres. Glucose, the main sugar found in your blood is the most important of these.

Through the night whilst you fast, your body uses the stores of glycogen in your liver to produce glucose, keeping blood sugars level. When you wake, you need to replenish these stores to give you energy and to keep you alert. Add to this, B vitamins, fibre, calcium and iron and you are set for the day.

At MLS Steakhouse we have an array of breakfasts to suit any appetite, all boasting the days essentials. Our aim is to get you off to the best start and tide you over until lunch.
